The Secret That Boosted My Revenue by 40%

When I realized that 80% of my revenue was coming from just 20% of my efforts, so many emotions ran through my mind and body…

Shock over what I had overlooked for years.

Anger over wasted time and energy with the 80% who brought me hardly anything.

Excitement over the potential for growth…

Was this the secret I had been missing for 5 years in building my business?

You know that secret that only the Top 1% seem to know and I should have figured out sooner?

Maybe this one insight would be the answer to me FINALLY being able to grow my million-dollar business without having to work those crazy 80+ hour weeks!

At the time we had around 1,000 people in our referral network and by analyzing my leads I learned that only about 200 of them were contributing to consistent sales.

In last week’s newsletter, I shared the process I used to discover that 80% of my revenue was coming from just 20% of my leads. CLICK HERE to read it if you missed it!

Looking back, I now know, YES it definitely was one of the things that allowed me to work less and make more (that’s why I teach my clients how to work through this process in my unique blueprint)

The bigger question was now… What the heck do I do with the info?

Never one to shy away from doing things differently (even though it scares me)…

I tasked my salesperson with visiting just the 200 referral sources in the community. I wanted her to spend 80% of her time on the road learning, discovering and being a resource to those 200 referral sources.  Her job was to really get to know what their daily pain points were in delivering care to seniors and how my franchise could help them solve some of those problems.

There was a lot of anxiety at first about this change, especially as a franchise owner because for years I had been trained by my franchisor that if I wanted to be successful, I had to work hard and visit all 1,000 of those referral sources.

We met weekly and she brought back so much valuable insight into not only what was going on in their businesses, but also in the healthcare industry as a whole!

I then took that info and improved our services to better meet their needs, which in turn improved our profits!

By 40 freaking percent!!!  OMG I know!

One small change in how we worked was now growing our revenue, plus my salesperson was really enjoying her job because she was spending more time with less people and doing less running around!

And now I knew firsthand it was actually possible to grow your business while working less!
