Dear Reader,

2025 is not the year of doing MORE but more the year of going DEEP!

Let me explain…

After 3 years of working 80+ hour weeks in my franchise business to hit the $1,000,000 revenue level, I was completely burnt out (but in complete denial).

After drawing a line in the sand that something had to change otherwise I was hanging up the For Sale sign, I met with a coach who gave me the outside perspective I needed to see where my business needed to shift!

I spent TWO. WHOLE. YEARS. (too cheap or stubborn to hire that coach) trying, testing & tweaking my business until I got things running without it running me into the ground daily!

To test how good my transformed business was, I left for 30 days on an RV road trip to sunny South Florida!

The business ran without me in the daily operations, without me attached to me phone all day and did not fall apart while I was gone!

Upon return my neighboring franchise owner invited me and another owner to start meeting as a small group quarterly so we could plan our upcoming 90 days.

One the things she had us start doing was analyzing our numbers, so we actually understood what was driving our profits.

This is where my eyes were opened to knowing your metrics!

Upon analyzing my leads from referral sources in the community, I realized that 80% of my leads were coming from just 20% of my 1,000 person network!

I immediately put a plan in place to build deeper relationships with the 20% of those leads who were bringing me 80% of my leads!

This meant I had to stop or reduce the number of visits to around 800 people in the community!

Seeing that number on paper scared the crap out of me!

• Would they forget about my business?
• Would they think I no longer wanted to see them?
• Would they think I was no longer in business?

All of these thoughts were furiously running through my brain but I just kept coming back to the number that 80% of my leads were only coming from around 200 referral sources!

A little excited but a lot scared, I made the decision that my sales person would focus on the 20% people and her new job was to spend more time deepening her relationship with those 200 people.

Guess what happened?

My revenue increased by 40%

And now I am in the same place as I was back in 2012…

I have crunched my email marketing numbers and the data clearly states that 20% of you are opening my emails!

So it’s time to go deeper again!

That is where this weekly newsletter strategy was born!

See, when you’re going around and around on the Hustle Hamster Wheel trying to write great emails multiple days a week, you not only get burned out but you also get a little stale and let’s face it they become surface level info!

And that’s not what you need!
